Southern Maryland Chapter

The Southern Maryland Chapter now encompasses nearly 40 members in Charles, St. Mary’s, and Calvert Counties.  We would particularly welcome your suggestions about programs or field trips you would like to see the chapter sponsor, about what you see happening in the region and what you would like to see the chapter undertake.  Are there conservation initiatives the chapter should consider helping with – or are you aware of ecologically sensitive areas being threatened where MNPS could be of help?

Several of the chapter's members are also actively involved in controlling invasive species at specific sites, and could always use volunteers.
