Second Annual Native Plant Sale at Robert E. Lee Park

  • 05/02/2015
  • 9:00 AM - 3:30 PM
  • Robert E. Lee Park, Baltimore
Professional gardeners will be on hand to help participants learn about the importance of landscaping with plants native to the Chesapeake Bay Watershed. Native plants are easier to maintain, and specific selections influence the lives of butterflies, birds and other wildlife.

A variety of deer resistant plants will also be available for sale.
Participants are encouraged to bring photos or sketches of their gardens to get planting advice from professionals.

All proceeds from the sale will go toward improvements at the park and the Guilford Garden Club scholarship fund.

While at the sale, visitors are encouraged to check out plans for the proposed Robert E. Lee Park Nature and Environmental Education Center which will provide year-round education and meeting space near the Ranger Station.

Location: Lakeside Drive entrance to Robert E. Lee Park

Rain Date:  Sunday, May 3
