Speaker: Pamela Mason

Pamela Mason is one of the artist contributors to American Botanical Paintings: Native Plants of the Mid-Atlantic, Bonnie S. Driggers, editor. It contains reproductions of original paintings and drawings of plants, many of which are accompanied by detailed illustrations of butterflies, moths, and other pollinators, emphasizing the vital interrelationships that support our region’s complex ecosystem. Mason will describe the book and how it came to be published by the Washington area-based organization, Botanical Artists for Education and the Environment. Proceeds from the sale of the book will be used to support native plant education, conservation, and horticulture activities.

Location: Wheaton Library, 11701 Georgia Ave, Wheaton, MD.

The meeting is open to non-members.

Registration is not required.
