Adkins Arboretum has been offering the largest selection of native ornamental plants to the Chesapeake Bay gardener for over 20 years. Hundreds of perennials, grasses, trees, shrubs and ferns to choose from all with the knowledgeable help of the Arboretum volunteers.

• Saturday’s sale will host a paid program to hear Scott Scarfone, ASLA and professional horticulturist specializing in herbaceous perennials and author talk about Designing Extraordinary Mixed Plantings. 1 -2 p.m. Fee and registration required.
• On Sunday, Eric Whitman, a local plant consultant, will be giving 3 informal 20-minute talks on under-used favorite perennials, trees, and shrubs for the garden free of charge.

Please visit the website for registration and more information on these talks. As always, Members of the Arboretum receive a discount on plant purchases. If you cannot make this Plant Sale Event, the Arboretum's Native Plant Nursery is open from April 15th – November 1st , M-F 10 am. to 4 pm.
