Master Gardener Classes in Allegany and Garrett Counties

Interested in gardening or learning more about soils, ecology, plant nutrition, insects, or plant diseases? Consider signing up for the Maryland Master Gardener Basic Training Course. This 12 week course will cover many topics of interest and is great for the beginner or someone that has been gardening their whole life.

Basic training classes will be held every Thursday evening from March 14th to May 31st from 6:00 to 9:00pm at the University of Maryland Extension Office, in Mt. Lake Park.

A training fee of $110 includes the purchase of the University of Maryland Master Gardener Handbook, which is a wonderful resource.
