Elizabeth Byers

Elizabeth Byers is a vegetation ecologist with the West Virginia Natural Heritage Program. Ms. Byers recently completed conservation assessments of high elevation wetlands and spruce forests in the Allegheny Mountain region of West Virginia. Her wildflower photographs appear in West Virginia Wildlife magazine.

Woodward Bousquet

Woodward Bousquet is Professor of Environmental Studies and Biology and Chair of the Environmental Studies Department at Shenandoah University in Winchester, VA. Woody teaches undergraduate courses in ecology, environmental science, and regional studies. He supervises undergraduates in research and public education projects in the Shenandoah Valley region and beyond.
