MNPS Photo Contest 2007

In conjunction with the 2007 Fall Conference, MNPS held a photo contest. Attendees cast their votes on (recycled) paper ballots by selecting a numbered photo for their favorite in each category.  Congratulations to the winners of the Maryland Native Plant Society Photo Contest of 2007! Winning entries are listed below.

The categories were:

  • Maryland native plants – close ups, whole plants, or plant communities;
  • Wildlife with native plants – birds, pollinators, caterpillars, etc. and their interactions with native plants;
  • Threatened Maryland habitats – with a statement on how it is threatened.
