Stop the ICC!

Inter-County Connector a superhighway that will connect I-95 in Howard County, Maryland, with I-270 in Montgomery County, Maryland, can potentially result in the destruction of over 500 acres of natural woodland.

On December 20, 2006, The Maryland Native Plant Society, along with The Audubon Naturalist Society and local residents Roger Metcalf and Eve Burton, filed a lawsuit to stop the ICC. Another lawsuit has been filed by Environmental Defense and The Maryland Chapter of the Sierra Club.
