Many botanical names are useful for identification. Margaret Chatham has a lifelong interest in words and how they came to mean what they do. We hope to increase your knowledge and your comfort level with botanical Latin (and Greek!).

Location: Silver Spring Civic Center, 1 Veterans Pl, Silver Spring, MD 20910. (GPS device address: 8525 Fenton Street, Silver Spring) It's at the intersection of Ellsworth Drive and Fenton Street.

Parking in the garage across street from the civic center, on Ellsworth, is free if you enter after 7:00 p.m.

The program is open to non-members.

Registration is not required.
