Nassawango Creek (a Nature Conservancy Preserve) is a remnant Atlantic white-cedar area, with some open habitat along powerline ROW. We will see a bald cypress/black gum forest, a restored pitcher plant bog with sundews along seep on the way in, an inland dune habitat with mixed hardwood and conifer cover, and an interesting raised rim basin mature swamp forest.

Registration is restricted to the fall conference attendees. You can select this field trip when you register for the conference.
