Sponsoring Organization: Maryland Native Plant Society

We will look for Golden Saxifrage, Spring Cress, False Hellebore,
Pennsylvania Bittercress, and the more common spring wildflowers.
We'll also do a side trip to nearby Piney Run Park to see a few
other plants such as Downy Rattlesnake Plantain, Pipsissewa, and
Round-leaved Pyrola, none of which will be blooming but we'll observe their distinctive leaves.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED. Limited to 12.

Registration through April 26 for members only.

Notes: trails will be muddy if there has been recent rain.

Bring: Lunch and water. Wear appropriate shoes. Consider bringing field guides, hand lens, binoculars.

Cancellation Policy: The walk will be postponed for moderate to heavy rain.  Rain date is May 1, (May 7 if needed).  Check MNPS website after 8:15 a.m. April 30 for cancellation notice if any.
