Speaker: Leslie Hunter Cario, Certified Professional Horticulturist and principal of Chesapeake Horticultural Services, LLC, and Board Advisor to the Chesapeake Conservation Landscaping Council

Join horticulturist Leslie Hunter Cario as she shares her experience with growing native plants from seed of local ecotypes. Seeding technique and plant growth requirements will be discussed, along with the basics of seed collection and post-harvest handling.  A variety of native seeds will be available as examples.

Parking in the garage across street from the civic center, on Ellsworth, is free if you enter after 7:00 p.m.

The meeting is open to non-members.
