Frederick City Watershed Cooperative Wildlife Management Area (CWMA) (also known as City of Frederick Municipal Watershed and City of Frederick Municipal Forest)

The Frederick City Watershed consists of 7000 acres of protected land, mostly forested, with a few open meadows and numerous ponds, with miles of unmarked trails and rich diversity of species.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: Limited to 10.

Bring:Insect repellent, field guides, water, snack, binoculars if you like, sun or rain protection.

Notes:  We will walk several miles. Little or no elevation change, but trails can be wet and muddy with uneven ground.  No restrooms.

Cancellation Policy: Trip will go in light drizzle; canceled in the event of heavy rain or storms.
