Sponsoring organization:  Maryland Native Plant Society

We will visit the Audubon Society of Central Maryland’s 129 acre Audrey Carroll Sanctuary west of Mount Airy, Maryland. We will see a variety of native tall grasses and late fall composites in bloom. We will focus primarily on the meadows. The sanctuary also includes woodlands, streams and a pond.

ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUIRED: Limited to 15.

MNPS Members only through August 19.

Wear
:  Hat and sturdy shoes.

Bring
:  Your favorite field guides, binoculars if desired, sun protection and/or rain gear, water, snacks, and insect repellant.

Notes:  Easy walking.  Bathrooms available.

Cancellation Policy:
Trip will go in light drizzle but will be canceled if in the event of storms or heavy rain.
