An opportunity to see the results of Weed Warrior dedication!

After years of sustained effort in removing invasive plants, a diversity of native plants has returned to the Backbone Trail near the Meadowside Nature Center.  No plants were seeded or placed, this trail shows the resurgence of native plants in the seedbank.  Highlights include several species of ferns, showy orchis, and possible late trout lily.

Julie Super, the naturalist at Meadowside who directed the Weed Warrior effort, will give us a brief overview of the project.

Leaders: Ken Bawer, Anne DeNovo, Sujata Roy, Tenley Wurglitz
