An easy slow walk along the tow path upstream from Taylor's Landing, with a possible side excursion onto private (with permission) property. Spring wildflowers and emerging Ferns will be the main focus with an occasional preliminary measurement of a large tree to see if it might qualify to be a Champion Tree.

FREE, BUT ONLINE REGISTRATION IS REQUESTED. Limited to 20. Members only through March 25, 2018.

Notes:   No restrooms on site. Parking is very limited. Please carpool if possible. For anyone coming from Garrett, Allegany or Washington Counties, the leader, Joe Metzger, can take 3 passengers, picking them up on the way. Contact Joe at joemetzger65@gmail.com.

Bring: Field guides, water, lunch, binoculars if you like, insect repellant, sun or rain protection.

Cancellation Policy: We will go in drizzle or light rain but the trip will be canceled in the event of heavy rain or storms.
