We will visit a different area in Little Bennett Regional Park. We will be walking farther and faster than is usual on MNPS field trips, to reach an area where there are American hazelnut trees. The leader is enamored of Corylus americana and we hope to see it in flower. On the way back we can slow down to observe other trees and shrubs and look for signs of spring.
