Calling all beginners! Would you like to identify the sparkling flowers springing up all around? Would you like to learn more about plants? How about tackling the (locally) legendary Newcomb’s Wildflower Guide among friends? Grab your book, or another favorite field guide and hand-lens, then join us for a hands-on, in-person plant identification workshop. We will view common wildflower specimens together, and will have an opportunity to walk a short nature trail to identify plants in their habitat.
Registration is capped at 50 for this event.
Registration will be open to MNPS members until May 24, and to the general public after that date.
This is a free program.
The Maryland Native Plant Society has developed policies and procedures for public program operations based on state and CDC guidelines.
Please consider the safety, health, and well-being of all participants in our programs and stay home if the participant is ill.
During registration we will ask each individual, or if under 18 a parent, to complete an agreement to the policies
