REGISTRATION IS LIMITED TO CONFERENCE PARTICIPANTS.

Please review the complete list of field trips and workshops before starting the registration process. You will choose both Saturday and Sunday field trip options.

We reserve the right to cancel your registration if you are not also registered for the conference. All guests must also be registered for the conference.

SATURDAY WORKSHOPS on UMD Campus

Saturday Workshops are from 2-5 p.m.
  1. Native Plants, Healthy Gardens: Mid-Atlantic Beauty at Home, Design Workshop
  2. Asteraceae Identification Workshop
  3. Sketching Asters – Draw One to Know One, Botanical Drawing
  4. Plants to Dye For! FULL: No Additional Registrations Accepted 
  5. The Native Food Forest: Talk and Walk – (On campus, followed by travel to Hyattsville)

SATURDAY FIELD TRIPS

2:00 - 5:00 PM Workshops (see current list).

2:20 - 2:30 PM Field trips: Check-in at field trip locations (see current list) 

2:30 PM - TBD Field trips: starting promptly at 2:30 PM; ending time TBD by trip leader

Please plan to leave campus with sufficient driving time.

  7. Exploring Governor's Bridge Natural Area (Bowie MD)
  8. Oxbow Lake and a Whopping Wetland (Laurel MD)

Volunteer to be a field trip assistant. Not all trips need volunteers. Volunteers will held gather participants, take attendance, maintain a plant list, take photos, and submit information either to the leader or to conference@mdflora.org
