Fall Conference Sunday Field Trip: Black Hill Regional Park, Cabin Branch and Hamilton Trail Loops (Boyds)

Registration will open on 9/3. Conference participants do not need to register.

We will start our hike from the parking lot near Little Seneca Lake boat mooring and hike for about 2 miles on natural surface trails through managed meadows, scrub shrub early succession woods and upland piedmont forests. Trails are relatively even, but hiking boots or sturdy shoes and water are recommended. There is a porta john near the trail head.

Leaders: Claudine Lebeau & Kathy Bilton

Level of Difficulty: Moderate

Claudine Lebeau has led guided walks with the Maryland Native Plant Society. Kathy Bilton has led walks for the local Audubon Society and the Botanical Society of Washington. Kathy and Claudine have been passionate about botany for decades.
