Take a break from the big box stores and purchase plants native to our area raised by local growers.  Native plants have evolved to flourish with our local climate, soil types and wildlife and therefore require less water, maintenance, and pesticides. Do you want to create a butterfly garden, plant a tree that will last generations or just add something attractive to your garden?  Come sample the offerings and while on campus visit the Howard County GreenFest.  This year’s GreenFest theme is “Water Quality Begins at Home”.
