Early Spring Wildflowers at Carderock

Many of the earliest wildflowers are found along the south-facing bluffs at the Carderock Recreation Area off the C&0 Canal.

Notes: Some of the trails we follow are quite rocky and there is one small stream crossing.

Bring: Any field guides you like, binoculars if you want, water and snack.

Cancellation Policy: Cancelled if heavy rain and/or lightning; not for light drizzle.
