Here is the Report of the Maryland Botanical Heritage Work Group, which was established in 2013 by the Maryland General Assembly and appointed by the Governor of Maryland to assess threats and make recommendations for the preservation of plant species native to the State and the region. Kirsten Johnson, President of the Maryland Native Plant Society, chaired the work group.
